On December 10, 2017, Formiga de Vellut became the first Catalan and the first wine produced in a winery owned by a woman ever served at the Nobel dinner.

Formiga de Vellut 2014 was served during the Nobel dinner, a fact that not only helps to reconfirm the quality of the wine but also enhances the value of all Priorat wines and especially pays attention to ecological and environmentally friendly wines.
Clos Galena celebrates that a red wine from the DOQ Priorat has been chosen to harmonize the Nobel Prize and to accompany a meal signed by Stadshusrestauranger in collaboration with chef Tom Sjöstedt. Merche Dalmau is also pleased that the press has described the wine as "fantastic".
