The newspaper Ara publishes an article about Clos Galena, a winery in Priorat that is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the launch of a limited edition wine: "Clos Galena. 25 Years of a Dream 2022."
The winery, founded in 1999 by Miguel Pérez and Merche Dalmau, has stood out for its commitment to producing high-quality organic wines. In 2017, it gained international recognition when its Formiga de Vellut 2014 wine was selected for the Nobel Prize banquet.
The commemorative wine is made from Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, using grapes from five selected vineyards, with a predominance of old Cariñena vines. Its aging in oak barrels enhances the wine’s deep expression of the Priorat terroir. Each bottle, numbered and signed, is sold for €125.
Additionally, Clos Galena continues its Vi & Art initiative, a project that fuses art and wine through special boxes with hand-painted lids by renowned artists.
