Secrets of Casa Navàs Negre 2019

Elaboration: Old vines over 30 years old. Fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks for approximately 20-25 days at 26-28ºC. A soft pressing is made, although only the part of the bled wine is used, the rest is destined to other coupages. Subsequent malolactic fermentation of about 30 days in stainless steel. Finally, part of the wine rests in French oak barrels for approximately 4 months.

Aging: 4 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Red wine from D.O. Terra Alta (Tarragona), with a very intense red-violet color, aroma with notes of red and black fruit and spicy touches. In the mouth it is a very fresh, complex and smooth wine with a long finish.

Pairing: To accompany cheeses, white and red meats, stews or meat stews.
