Clos Galena 2004 “outstanding” and Galena 2004 “very good” wines.
The Wine Spectator guide rates with 90 points the Clos Galena 2004 wine. Thomas Matthews (executive editor) says:
“Muscular tannins nearly mask plum and coffee flavours in this burly red. There’s a strong note of mountain herbs that provides a distinctive wild character. Best from 2009 through 2016. 600 cases imported-T.M.”
Galena 2004 is rated with 88 points. “Berry, smoky and herbal flavours mingle in this supple red. Juicy and fresh, with a dash of oak and firm foundation of tannins. Drink now through 2012. 900 cases imported.-T.M.”
