The minerality of a terroir
A heritage of history and hard work
The Priorat region is located in south Catalonia, in the inland of Tarragona. It is influenced by the Mediterranean climate, characterized by the absence of rain and strong contrasts between valleys and high lands in summer, and cold winters, with temperatures that can drop under 0º C.
vineyards are located at 50 to 500 metres above sea level, on the slopes of the hills, planted on terraces with two or three, but sometimes even a single row of vines.
